Does classified ad syndication work?

By Shirley Thomas

Over the last few years I have been placingmore and more classified ads. The problems I have faced is number of ad views and being wrongly flagged. I decided to attempt the online ad syndication. Stumblehere.com has made ad syndication the primary focus of their site.

I wanted to find out what online ad syndication is. Stumblehere.com promotes their professional ad service. Their Wizard walks you through the ad creation process and then will automatically syndicate and post your ad to over 115 separate top classified ad sites, online marketplaces, search engines and RSS Feeds. This will save you hours upon hours of precious time. Is your time worth it?

What this means is stumblehere.com saves you not only money but time too. The power comes from entering your ad only one time. After that they do all the work listing your ad in online marketplaces, classified directories, RSS feeds and the top search engines. And this is all done rather quickly, usually within 42 hours or less.

This is how they get hits and traffic to your ad. Not only is your listing on their site, but it is on all the top networks as well. And now I dont need to repost my ads daily cause a competitor maliciously flags my ad. Okay I am sold!

So I know from experience that free classified ads work on stumblehere, but how about these new paid ads? Are they really worth it? In doing my research I decided to try their new betterpost product. The way I understand it is the betterpost classifieds are ads designed in beautiful templates, with full ad syndication. Basically I can spice up my ad and get traffic to it without web programming knowledge.

The best way to explain betterpost is - An ad upgrade feature, for 7.99 you build a professional and attractive ad and then stumblehere.com syndicates that ad for you. They place and syndicate your ad for you so you do not have to make multiple ad postings yourself!

I saw they currently only offer betterpost for vehicles classifieds, so i decided to try to sell my old car. They are offering 85% off through the end of October for anyone who wants to test their betterpost ad syndication. After posting your ad simply enter 'halloween' all lowercase in the promo code box.

Total cost was only 1.20. This test is not going to cost me anything. I really like the way my ad turned out. It looks really professional.

First time for everything, my first time paying for aclassifed ad online. It has been 11 hours and I have not heard anything. I wonder if this will really work? I decided to go back to http://www.stumblehere.com and research it more. Their site says classified ad syndication can take up to 26 hours. I guess I will have to do some waiting.

About 6 hours later I got my 1st call... I tried to see what site they saw my ad on but, the gal couldn't remember. She just talked about how she was impressed at how my car looked in the ad.

The next morning I had 4 emails about my car. And later that day call number 2 came in off my syndicated ad. Is this classified ad syndication stuff working? I need to set up times for people to look at my car.

To answer my question above, I know ad syndication works! It was nice to only have to submit my ad once. Plus my ad was not flagged wrongly. 5 days after i started this process response was great. I had 6 calls and 8 emails! - 16651
