Dan Kennedy: How To Live The Internet Lifestyle - A Shortcut

By Neeraj Varma

Brian McElroy reveals his big secret in Dan Kennedy's information marketing course. Brian made $500,000 in 18 months starting from scratch. The best part is that he lives on the beach in Rio de Janeiro and loves his lifestyle.

Brian doesn't think he is genius. "You have to hook up with people who are highly successful and start working with them", he said.

In conjunction with the Info Riches course, Rob Toth interviewed several highly successful information marketers. As Dan Kennedy's partner he created a course called "Future of Information Marketing". There's some great information in these interviews that can help people be successful quickly. I have summarized some of them but you can get the whole course for FREE for a limited time.

In his interview with Brian, Rob found out the key secret to making it big in a short period of time. Brian said that he, like many others had been purchasing courses upon courses but never really doing anything with them. Wannabe Internet marketers are notorious for buying expensive courses then not even reading them or watching the videos.

Brian said "you have to start working with highly successful people so you can learn their business model". There are so many choices and ways of starting a business out there. It can be good to have choice when you are trying to find the best fit for yourself but having choices can also be a distraction. The way to avoid information overload is to start working with someone.

If you start working with someone and "provide a highly valued service to them you will build up your contacts". "Align with them...partner with them, get on their mentoring programs..." said Brian.

One of the biggest challenges he faced was time management. Since he was working in a job he couldn't find time to really do much in terms of setting up his business. So, first he concentrated on getting organized and eliminating many of the things that were taking up his time. "People have too much going on in their life. They don't have time to take on a new project." "You have to focus on one project at a time and make it successful before you move on to the next." He took several courses on time management and really studied it.

Once you have organized yourself you can "then focus on providing value to your mentors". This is Brian's big secret: Get organized personally, then do anything you can to be able to work with or for the really successful people in your business.

Brian is really happy with his ability to "live on the beach in Rio de Janeiro and live the Internet lifestyle." The time and energy he put into following a "rigorous schedule" really paid off for him. - 16651
