THE HAPPENING: Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberb), along with his wife and some friends are escaping Philadelphia by train. The northeastern U.S. has been thrown into chaos. People have been overwhelmed by an unusual force, and are commiting suicide. Will mankind find the solution, or are we witnessing the final acts of man on this planet?
IRON MAN: Playboy, engineer genius, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is attacked and taken by Afghan insurgents. They command him to make missiles for the insurgent group. He suffered a bad injury during his capture, and he has shrapnel lodged in his chest. To survive his injuries, and get away from the rebels, he develops a suit of armor, which makes him virtually invincible. We have a new comic book super hero on the scene.
SPEED RACER: A comic, turned TV anime, gets real actors. Much like the film The Flinstones, Speed Racer chages a cartoon to a movie with an actual cast. Speed Racer who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a very dangerous race that had cost his brother his life. With odds against him, and risking it all, he partners up with his enemy of the past, Racer X, in a last ditch effort to give himself a chance to win, so the family business won't go under.
